Is this a "real" church? Well, not in the normal sense. It is purposely called a "cyber church", cyber meaning to utilize information technology, the internet and what is known as "virtual reality" in "cyberspace".In a Godly church, people come together, usually in a building, to worship God and to hear the preaching of His Word.
In Boorowa Cyber Church, people from around the world come individually or together in cyberspace at anytime of day or night to hear the preaching of God's Word and also to listen to the freewill worship offerings of music and song dedicated to God by saints around the world.
Christians are being asked to contribute a greeting or a prayer and introduce a song they have written or to play a piece of music.The "service" format is created in such a way as to be reverent and orderly. Yet it varies greatly from week to week in the nature of its content. We have several individuals and singing families who will join us from time to time, as well as church groups and even whole congregations.
Holiness Pastors from other churches are also providing materials. Short messages will be drawn from these materials and from such men as Wesley, Murray, Drummond and many others.
There are clear advantages for outreach in such a ministry. People may attend "church" anytime, day or night. Lay people and pastors from around the world can contribute with music, song, prayer and the provision of inspiring messages from the Word of God.The involvement of people far and wide allows the sharing of the gospel of holiness to many who have never known of such
